what to do?

valentine's day evening was very special. my friend sara called and said she didn't want to be alone. m was away on business, so we hit the town. free drinks and dancing until 3am! it was spectacular. she's friends with the manager and djs at a club called poison, so we got in for free and were treated to vvip treatment. i acquired many fans of my swiss-miss-looking braids. we brought some nigerian dudes with us, who we had met at zenzi beforehand. they were stoked to get in at all. apparently they are normally denied entrance due to the color of their skin.

the following night i had girlfriends over to drink, eat and bitch. sara crashed at the apartment and again, we were up until 3. almost nothing is better than good girl talk with a friend you connect with.

i'm gonna check out a hapkido class today. our brooklyn friend kristen has been practicing for years and has finally convinced me to try it. i've been working out a lot lately, trying out different gyms to see which is the best deal before i commit. i fully expect this class to kick my ass, in the pathetically sore state i'm in!

so. should i go home and work for the summer??
