we hit up rei this morning, rented a tent, and hit the road. we're now in price, utah (in a motel), planning to drive down to prescott, az to see friends and family ... and then loop back up to slc to catch a flight to pdx on the 21st.
it's been unbelievably dramatic so far. we (m) got rattled at by a rattlesnake, i'm suffering miserably from a massive allergy attack, and there is a dangerous bumblebee living under the passenger seat of the car. it'll be a miracle if we make it through this road trip alive!
